The Welcome

What kind of scene do you get to see when you get down at a railway station.. Well there are all kinds of possibilities. Elders getting down the train to be greeted with feet touched by their young receivers. A father eagerly waiting for his family to get down and picks up the tiny tots to kiss them when they arrive. Bunch of families waiting for their kids to return from a school or college trip.

Sometimes passengers get down at an altogether new station and try to search for familiar faces and in the process, stumble with their luggage (That is what had happened with me when I first came to Durg railway station years ago :P)

My personal favourite is the scene when a friend comes to pick-up another friend. Be it a guy or a girl, the happiness of seeing an old friend or picking up a friend of friend.. The enthusiasm radiates in the way a bunch of guys hug and literally squeeze the newly arrived person or a gal hugging her gal pal with all warmth. It is a one fine moment you would love to hold in your eyes and people witnessing the sight would definitely cringe and long for their best buddy at that time.
